Workshopping & review
We supported a bid for the construction of an innovative fusion power plant, working with the client team during Stage 1 ITT, Stage 2 ITT, and feasibility study tender. Our work on this unique bid required out-of-the-box thinking to meet first-of-a-kind project requirements, including novel ideas and a pioneering collaborative operating model.
We wrote a number of highly technical and complex responses, incorporating key messages agreed upon by the wider bid team, alongside the more technical response-specific detail. Collaborating with graphic designers, bid managers, and other team members, we ensured a similar approach was taken across the entirety of the bid.
We collaborated with Joint Venture (JV) partners to review responses throughout the bid, ensuring alignment across several areas and adjusting responses in line with reviewer feedback. This process was detailed and often complex as reviewers provided varying perspectives from several organisations; we worked as the centre point of the collective to harness these ideas and distil them into an agreed and aligned resolution.
Working with team members with highly technical expertise, we conducted information-gathering meetings and refined their input into accessible, compelling text for inclusion in the bid submission. With responsibility for the most heavily weighted response - covering economic value - we collaboratively devised and brought to fruition on paper a novel operating model in line with project and client requirements.
